Foon Fu is an American photographer, director, and distance running coach with over 18 years of professional experience. Foon's expertise has transcended athletic boundaries, guiding athletes of all calibers to remarkable achievements. From the lightning-fast 3:52 milers to the impressive 59-minute half marathoners and 2-hour marathoners, Foon has nurtured and mentored athletes at every stage of their journey.

His photography and coaching mastery has garnered recognition from prestigious clients including Nike, New Balance, Hoka One One, Mizuno, Maurten, RunnersWorld, Ryzon, Times Inc, Yahoo, and many others.

Foon's lens has worked with figures like Simon Sinek, Melissa McCarthy, Liam Neeson, Owen Wilson, and Jason Bateman to icons of the sporting world like Vince Vaughn, Jermaine Dupri, Reese Witherspoon, Young Jeezy, Mo Farah, Kyle Merber and more.

Beyond his passion for photography, Foon's dedication to teaching has taken him on captivating journeys across the globe. It started with a transformative trip to Bali in his mid-twenties, which sparked a two-year around-the-world adventure during which he documented his ongoing project, “University of Life”. From the vibrant cultures of Bali to the awe-inspiring landscapes of various countries, Foon's photography has immortalized the beauty and diversity of over 40 nations.

Since 2015, Foon has also aligned his coaching and photography work with non-profit charity organizations, generously contributing a portion of his earnings and artwork to support children's education and sustainable housing projects in Africa.
